Pro Bono Action Planning

Does your organization need facilitated planning assistance?

Are you a member of a community group, faith or non-profit organization that needs facilitated planning assistance? If so, you might qualify for the Sacramento Regional Pro Bono Action Planning Program. In order to qualify you need to have at least 12 people who want to work on an event or project together.

Action planning can be used to plan a:

Community event
Conference
Publicity campaign
Celebration
Fund-raiser
Project

Action Planning is used for short-term planning for projects that have already been agreed on or about which there is already some consensus.

This facilitation process:

Clarifies and delineates the task
Aligns the creativity, capabilities, interests and resource of the group
Decides the necessary actions, roles and responsibilities
Builds group trust, support, enthusiasm and consensus
Creates an implementation timeline to accomplish the task
Coordinates actions and assignments

A total of seven action planning projects will be selected for participation in the Sacramento Regional Pro Bono Action Planning Program. Priority will be given to all volunteer efforts, organizations that have limited financial resources that have not received assistance in the past and program planning to deliver services to the general community (not just the membership of the organization).
